I recently started taking up driving lessons. Tomorrow it will be my fourth class and still I am afraid and I can't relax . Maybe this is because when I was little, I was almost hit by a car and since then I never liked cars and I felt tensed even when someone else was driving.

Still, It's my turn now to get a driving's licence, so please give me some tips or advices on how to overcome my fear, relax and become a good driver!

This is one thing that frustrates me a great deal about myself and quite embarrassing as well. I have a pretty good memory and if I hear a phone number once I’ll remember it for weeks.(Birthdays and appointments too) And, I can mentally recall events from my childhood in great detail, for example: I can mentally scan my bedroom that I had when I was four years-old and tell you exactly where everything was placed in that room. But, I can’t spell worth beans! Isn’t spelling correctly just memory anyway....remembering where letters are placed in a word? How can I become a better speller? Thanks a lot. PS. Even in writing this question I spelled the word “embarrassing” wrong.....man, how embarrassing!

I went to school and some college, but that was many, many moons ago. The homework they are sending home is ridiculous. Both me and my husband are left sitting there scratching our heads. I even ask my daughter and her boyfriend who is a 4.0 in college and he has to sit and think. With some of the question and problems we send them back to the teacher and ask her to do her job.... No smart a** answers please if you have children you will be able to relate.

While in class my instructor got impatient with a student. The instructor went to fast and the student didn't see what he did and asked for help. The teacher said "Oh come on you should know this by now." The student told him he didn't appreciate his respond to him. The instructor said let's take it outside. The student returned very upset and said the instructor said he had a learning disability and that's why other people left out of the class because he was asking too many questions.
