Fire!!! That's a basic! That'll be the most important thing I wouldn't be able to live without if ever I'm stranded alone in an island away from society.

antibiotics.without them,bronchitis,pneumonia,various infections were routinely fatal for children and the elderly,and even some people in their prime."childbirth fever",an infection caused by drs,midwives,not washing their hands,(didnt know they were supposed to) killed many new mothers.think back to the worst infection u ever had-maybe an infected dog bite,or ear infection,or whatever.in the 1800's,unless u were very strong and very lucky,that would probably have been ur final illness.henry the 8 died of a SINUS INFECTION !!!! if i had to go back in time,i'd go back no further than the 50's or so !!!!!

Alternating current AC. (electricity). Edison used direct current DC but it had limitations on how far it could be ran on wires. Tesla invented alternating current AC.

I believe it is aspirin. How many people, besides scientologists (Tom Cruise), do you know can live without it. Think about it, and if your head starts hurting by thinking, just take an aspirin.

Computers has, without computers we wouldnt be able to contact people and there wouldnt be as many exciting jobs that are avalible at the moment, and computers have made it easier to find out reliable, up to date information. I wouldnt cope without my computer
