This is the story line. You get fired and can't make payments on your home (or some other financial crisis). you decide to rob some place. It's about how you case the joint and carry out the robbery. How you get caught.

You have to decide what genre of story you are going to write .Then you have to think of a central hero. This could be a man ,a woman,a boy ,a dog, a ghost, an angel -or even as in some kids' stories a car, or a train.
We want to know what happens to that person ,his thoughts, feelings -if they are in trouble or danger. We want them to be saved ,if they are frightened, we feel fear too.
The main thing to remember is that a fiction story is always organized around a conflict of some kind. A loss,a threat of danger,an enemy, There will be something that goes wrong. The essence of the story - how is the situation going to go wrong, and how is it going to be right again .
The end : one of the best kinds of endings is the one with a twist of surprise. For example to end with a question or a statement that leaves the reader with a question.finally ,you should always end with a satisfying flourish of some sort .Such as:He turned and walked away , or : Slowly she puts the phone down,or :And that was the last I saw of him .
So, now you're ready to write your fiction . Good luck .

When I had to do this, I took my favourite song and turned it into a novel - I got an A so it was a pretty good idea. Since what your writing is fiction you can pretty much write about anything you like!
As a teacher I would comend my kids for doing this as it shows initiative if they dont have a great imagination.

Oh my goodness! The possibilities are endless! You should start by thinking about movies or books that you enjoy, and maybe try to do something like that. I really like hiest stories, so I might write about knocking over a bank or casino or something like that. Or you could write a romance, a mystery (those are fun), you have so many options. I wish you lots of luck! I hope I was somewhat helpful. Sorry, if I wasn't. You really didn't give me a lot to pull from.....

Define your novel's lead. The lead is your novel's hero or heroine. Think about books you've read in the genre you're targeting. What kind of person usually "stars" in this kind of book? A man? A woman? Of what age? A teen or child?
Hit your lead with a crisis. The crisis is an event that's bad news for your lead, turning her life upside down. Get crisis ideas from your life, family, friends, coworkers, the media, your dreams, and eavesdropping. Create a crisis "Suppose" like this: Suppose a woman...
Set a story goal for your lead. The story goal is what your lead will seek to achieve during the entire course of the novel. If she attains it, the bad effects of the crisis will be undone and her life will be happy and normal again. In seeking the story goal, your lead must want possession of something (a person, an object, information) or relief from something (fear, pain, sadness, loneliness, domination, oppression). Set your lead's goal like this: She decides she must...
Combine the supposes with the story goal. Put your "Suppose" together with your story goal, like this: Suppose a woman's daughter were kidnapped. She decides she must get her daughter back. This is your story idea.

You could write fiction based on a real event. One example could be what happened during the tragic explosion of the space shuttle Columbia. You could use the real names of the crew and ground control, and make a very moving and dramatic story. You could end with something very sad and moving, that will make people remember both your story and the disaster.

Its best to write about stuff you know, draw from your own experiences.
You might not feel you have anything interesting to offer, but even situations like a family argument can be really interesting if you build up the tension and and small details to the characters to really bring them to life.
Good luck!

How about planets that are alive and inteligent? For example Earth that will have enough of our presence on her surface and will rid of us by her elemental powers. Beliveable and conected to today problems. Fiction of course, but like horrors a little scary.
