Is there any logic why we interchange one with another?
Or is '&' just a short form of 'and'? If it is then how come we dont have keys on our keyboards for other short forms like 'i.e.' for 'that is' or 'no.' for 'number' and so on.

I am asking the following question to be able to get suggestions/ideas from English Language Teachers or those who are in similar kind of work.

I want to know if there is a play book that has been set (is a part of course study) for secondary level / pre-college level / high school students, what approach the teacher who is responsible to teach or to cover that play book for the students will take …. I mean what steps as a teacher will he take to make students to read or go through such novels (play books). In other words how that teacher will go to do his/her job in relation to the teaching of such books (plays/novels) to his/her students. Can anyone please tell this, possibly in few steps? Thank you.

Hi, I am in my 30 now..and just completing the CPA. I also have Post Graduation in Computers and Information Management..I plan to take up addtional courses on SAP and Oracle as it will help me in my CISA (which i plan to take up soon)

But, at this point i see good opportunities in Insurance, Finance, etc and think if taking a Certified Financial Planner course would be helpfull instead of the above?

Can anyone seriously suggest something? any experienced hands can help?

Does it look good on college/job applications that I volunteered for my local library? It's not exactly something that improves the community (or then again, is it?), but it is a volunteer service nonetheless.

Also, how many hours looks impressive? I've gotten almost 300 by now, but I want to do as many as I can.
