I'm tired of people answering financial aid questions with such cold answers. I'm talking about those people that have nothing else to say but "get a job".

The problem that I have with this is that you are not expected to work full time through school. The reason you are in school is to concentrate on your education, not how hard to work in order to pay for it. This is why there is financial, and if anything else student loans. But I"m so tired of people telling people "suck it up and find a job," it's cruel, cold, and ignorant! So next time you give advice to college students who are trying to find ways to pay for college, don't tell them to work through school. No one cares if you didn't know how to apply for financial aid and ended up having to work 40 hours a week while going to school. It's not expected of any stupid, so stop being so damn ignorant!

Anyone else agree?

Hello-

Im almost 25, I have about 3.5 years left before I will have a bachelors degree in business so that would put me at about 28-29 years old when I graduate. Lately Ive just felt like Im too old and that I just need to get a blue collar job and not get my degree. I think part of this is because my serious bf is 3 years younger then me and only has 2 years left until he graduates. I know Im not but I just feel like Im too old, anyone have any perspective on this?

Thanks.

I currently hold two degrees (BA, MA) and have five years' admin and secretarial experience but would really like to get into IT support (IT helpdesk engineer sort of thing). I've always tended to be the one in the office who my colleagues come to when there's a software or hardware problem and I rather like solving them!

What qualifications or training do I need to push my knowledge and skills further towards the IT side of my experience?

Why is it so cool to sound like you never went to school? Why is it that people cannot spell out whole words here on the internet or they change a couple of letters like cool to "kewl" for example? Why can we not at least sound like an educated people?

I have a job interview for the position of lecturer in Plastering, soon. I have no lecturing exprience and am not fully qualified. The last postion I interview for was given to the candidate with teaching experience. If I given a better interview, I may be successfully this time. I thought to ask the questions, I remember being asked.
