K-12 students, in several states, can enroll into online schools where they can recieve a complete education. I think there are specific elements missing from a virtual learning environment, especially social elements. I am wondering if anyone, especially anyone with children who have experienced both brick and mortar school and online school, can specify the differences between the two.

I want to move from the United Kingdom to the United States next year when im 16 with my GCSE qualifications. I am planning to study at a public high school to get High School Diploma(s), but i dont know how long high school lasts. I would appreciate someone letting me know . Thank you

I understand the longer words, but I see "dose" for "does" and "wat" for "what". These are words you learn in the first grade. Does our society take pride in how stupid we appear to be?

We just had a debate if the word is Wheelbarrow or Wheelbarrel and we all thought that it was the barrel but the dicitonary says Wheelbarrow. Is it pronounced differently? How do you pronounce it? Also say what state are you from.
