I do not have my teaching certificate and I don't want to get it until I know that I want to teach (hence the wanting to sub). Can't I be an emergency sub? What all is needed to do so?

Is it possible and a good idea? Anybody know what colleges think about taking classes out of high school?
I heard you don't have to take AP classes to take the test, so self study is also an option. Any advice?
