I will be in NYC for a short time next week and a girl friend of mine and I were wondering where we can find some classy 18+ bars/clubs in NYC. We would prefer them be in Midtown or near Midtown. If anyone knows any classy dance clubs, that would be great as well.

Anyone know of an upscale bar/restaurant that has happy hour specials and what the specials are and on what days of the week.

my definition of upscale is anything that doesnt resemble an irish pub/tavern. Thanks in advance!

I couldn't get tickets to the Rutgers Louisville game and I really want to see it with my boyfriend. If anyone knows a place that I can eat at and watch the game without straining my neck, please answer!

Would like to go out with my friends but one of my friends eats only kosher food like to know a place that serves kosher food at a resonable price in NYC. Some place that we could actually celebrate something you know. Thanks

I've heard that Sicilian style deep dish is popular right now in New York. Is this the Detroit version(Toppings underneath cheese or on top) or the old world(mixed in with the crust)?

I moved from Austin, TX and among the other things that I miss about the vibrant, liberal culture of Austin(thankfully New York offers the same) is the yummilicious tex mex food. I have burnt my fingers attempting at several "Mexican" restaurants in New York and have not been really satisfied. Would anyone know of a place that serves genuinely good Mexican food?

Please response only If you have experienced the Mexican restaurants of Texas/NM/ California, and have found something that can compare in this city. If you do not have the benchmark, you may not be able to relate to my frustration.

A group of friends and I are looking to dine out for Thanksgiving in NYC this year. Several of us want the normal Thanksgiving fanfare, while some are vegitarian and are looking for tofuturkey. Does anyone know of a place we could go together in Manhattan? (Maybe one of the many prix fixed places?) Thanks!

My birthday is almost three weeks away from today. I don't have any ideas or anything planned yet. I am in my early twenties and I want to have a really fun and energetic celebration with some friends from high school that I haven't seen in a while. I suggested that we go to a male revue in New York City where we all live but, they don't feel comfortable with that. I really don't want to go to a dance club or comedy hall, they seem almost mundane after doing them for a while. We are also budget since we are still mostly in college. Please suggest something fun and exciting for my friends and I to do to celebrate my birthday. I haven't seen them in a while and I want everyone to enjoy themselves. I NEED Help! Someone please answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

So I'm looking for a good place to go in NYC. Live music, good food. Inexpensive. The door charge for the live music could be between $8-$20... The food could be inexpensive as well. Does anyone know any places that are having good Aucostics/rock/pop or Jazz? I'm from the NYC area and some artist I'm into are -

Coldplay
James Blunt
Damien Rice
Imogen Heap
Keane
Pete Yorn
Edwin McCaine
Gavin Degraw
Red Hot Chili Peppers - bands like that .. Thanks in advance for your help.. Please include, Venue name/price and whether or not it serves food.... Also the start time and Band name... Thanks so much!!!
