Nobu is awesome! The restaurant is beautiful and a lot of celebs eat there. There is also a special where the chef chooses a number of selected appetizers and are served as a meal. The service is always great and the lobster tempura is amazing! Make reservations first though.

It's NYC. Asking for one good restaurant is like asking to see one tall building. Open any door and you're likely to have a great culinary experience. I personally love the South Street Seaport. The view is spectacular, especially from the 3rd level.
The bankok house on 46 (8th & 9th) is sumptious.
Explore. Have fun. It's a great city.

Patsy's Italian Restaurant!!! It is on 56th between 8th Ave and Broadway!! Midtown. Their food is amazing and their prices are good. Their chef has been on TV a few times (today show and stuff), he has a cookbook, and they have a celebrity customer list that ges on for days! Try it out! They might even have a websitewith their menu.

I'm partial to steakhouses. Harry's at Hanover Square and Landmarc are two of my favorites.
