It should be classy and nice, but not a library where we'd feel we had to be on our best behavior. A menu with a good variety to choose from, as well as a full bar with fun mixed drinks to sample. This Bride-to-Be prefers to not venture into the city and would like to stay away from the cheesy night life.

HI there!
I live north of Boston and hubby wants to go bowling and then go get "just dessert" . .. if anyone else lives in Mass, is there a place that just has desserts? or do we have to go to a restaurant?? I hate to think of travelling into the North End after hubby just left work (he works in Boston). any thoughts would be appreciated - I'm just "throwing it out there " for anyone... maybe I should start up my own place .. now theres a thought

I am staying at my Mom's house in Bridgewater and will be getting together with 2 college friends. One lives in Providence, RI and the other in Marshfield, MA. Any recommendations for good food in a location that would be fairly convenient to all? The only restrictions are that we don't want a restaurant that only serves seafood. Oh, I'm not sure but one friend might have a 1 year old good natured baby with her.

According to the Food Networks show "The Best of...", the best of Boston is
Ciao Bella
Finale
Lumiere
Mamma Maria
Union Oyster House

I went on-line and looked at their menus, they all look great but are pretty pricey. Do you have any alternates to these restaurant that may be a little more modest in their prices, but deliver the same quality of food?

I am heading to Boston with my best friend Sara this weekend. We're not rolling in money but we can afford to splurge a little bit. What's the best pizza place in the city and what's the best seafood joint? (not terribly expensive or swanky)

I thought since you're so close to Martha's Vineyard, you may know of a great seafood restaurant. My daughter is celebrating her birthday there and I'd like to make reservations at the best restaurant for tomorrow night.
