Lobster is very expensive this year, although prices have just started to come down. We paid $7.50/lb for some last weekend in Portland, ME. Around where I live we've seen them advertised for $6.99/lb just this week. They are probably about the same in Boothbay.
Boothbay has several lobster pounds to pick from. Don't know the name of the road, but at the end of the downtown area is a little footbridge that crosses the harbor - over there are a couple of lobster pounds - fishermans coop is one.
On your way to Boothbay, in Wiscasset, ME is a road side stand called Reds Eats. They have the best lobster roll I've ever had. Worth the stop.
