I am staying at my Mom's house in Bridgewater and will be getting together with 2 college friends. One lives in Providence, RI and the other in Marshfield, MA. Any recommendations for good food in a location that would be fairly convenient to all? The only restrictions are that we don't want a restaurant that only serves seafood. Oh, I'm not sure but one friend might have a 1 year old good natured baby with her.

How about Wright's Farm Chicken Restaurant in Rhode Island off Rt 146? It is easy to reach from any of those places and has a huge parking lot. It is very popular and serves limitless chicken, salad, rolls,soft-drinks, and pasta for ten bucks.

First of all, stay away from the Capital Grille. This place is a great place, but with a 1 yr old the kid will drive you NUTS!

With Bridgewater, Providence and Marshfield all being around Southern MA and Northern RI, i would recommend the Charlie Horse Restaurant in West Bridgewater, MA. Its at the intersection of Rt 24 and 106. Its a pretty big "sports bar-ish place" but it has a small arcade, TV's and menu with things kids will like! Its someplace you can laugh and talk and not worry about annoying the people near you, like you would be at the Capital Grille.

Here's the website if you need directions, or look at the menu:

I mean, who calls it 'Rhode Island and the windfall Plantations'? according to hazard in courts or until now some professional conferences of politicians yet in any different case its in basic terms Rhode Island. i might ought to supply an answer of NO. i think of its a slippery slope doing those issues and in spite of stable some could think of it is going to accomplish all its incredibly doing is demonizing the notice plantation. the subsequent element you comprehend you are able to no longer say the damn notice in public devoid of looking over your shoulder to be sure if a probably comfortable social gathering is interior earshot. as quickly as we start to regulate what words we can use we are controlling how we can think of and that may no longer a stable element.

Go to the "Federal Hill" area of Providence, RI (Atwells Avenue) It's kinda like little Italy. There's alot of great Italian reastaurants, which range from casual to fancy. The food is amazing if you like Italian.

I agree with Mark above - Charlies is a good, casual place to eat and easy for all 3 of you to get to.

Another option, depending on when you are going, could be the Lobster Pot in Buzzards Bay. Casual, good food, kid friendly, and shouldn't be too tough for any of you to get to.
