I mean, I want top of the line, 2-3 hour meal, price no object. Preferably with a chef's tasting menu. I won't have a car, so I can't drive out as far as the French Laundry. Bonus if the restaurant is romantic, but good quality food is most important.

well I ask for salt free fries and they have to make a new basket because the min. they take them out of the fryer they pour the salt on them, and that is to much salt for me.

I live on the Space Coast..You know where they lunch the space shuttle....I'm looking for a place that has the tastiest steaks. Have you exeperienced any good steakhouses in this area? If so what are the names of the steakhouses? Preferbly the Space Coast area but the Orlando area is fine as well. So far, Longhorn Steak house tops my list.

Why are there hardly any Native American restaurants (even in NM & AZ), even as other ethnic restaurants abound?

The bread they use to make their subs @ Quiznos is really, really tasty you know, and it doesn't taste like normal bread. I looked it up to investigate it in trying to find out what makes their bread so different from others', and I read that they brush it with some kind of spray-chemical/butter stuff LOADS of times, and the stuff is DEADLY, called like Whirl or something, and it's high in calories, that's why it tastes so good.
Is this true, you think, and does anyone else taste the difference between the bread at Quiznos and the sub bread at other places?!

I'd rather go to SF because I know of lots of places there, but getting across the Bay Bridge on Val. Day is a nightmare (we had an unbelievably great dinner at L'Amour dans le four a couple of years back, but getting there was painful). I'm thinking French, Italian, Spanish, Mediteranean, but really anything that's really romantic will be considered.
