Thank you to Richard and Joz. And to DJ may be you need some soul food to stop being an ***. like you never made a mistake. And there ARE upscale soul food places such as MEMPHIS Restuarant. I just wanted to know more. But shows how much you know.

Hey whats up Mya , I put a link that shows all the Soul Food Restaurants in Los Angeles Area , I hope that helps , I don't know if any of them will remind you of home but it wont hurt to try , I have been to Roscoes , Angelinas , and M&M , but every body has their own style , nobodys Soul Food is the same , well good luck and good eatin !

I don't know if it will remind you of Tennessee, but I highly recommend PShaw's Bistro
PShaw's Bistro serves French Soul cuisine. It offers lunch and Sunday brunch. The bistro is available for catering and private events.

The best soul food sure ain't "upscale", it's "down home"....
Of course, if you were really from Tennessee, you'd know that AND be able to spell it correctly...
That said, Big Mamma's Rib Shack, M&M Soul Food or Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles.

the perfect "you purchase we fry" fish marketplace ive been too is off the only hundred and 5 constrained-access highway at crenshaw. Its called "king fish marketplace". its some blocks north of the only hundred and 5 contained in the pizza hut motor vehicle parking zone. Ramonas mexican nutrition is my fav, theres 3 places in South crucial
