I went into this subway sandwich shop today, and there were like nine of them I could see in the customer area. They were everywhere in the roof!

I think they're for surveillance cameras, but it was really creepy. I mean one or two I could understand, but nine? I mean it's just a tiny little sandwich shop. Are they afraid we're going to steal all their straws and drink lids or something?

NINE surveillance cameras? I mean get real. How much does that sort of thing cost? I don't know what they're really there for, but I'll bet most of them are aimed to look down people's shirts or something.

My friend and I have a competition. We go to a restaurant, order the spiciest thing on the menu, and tell the chef to make it as spicy as he can. If my friend can eat the whole dish, I pay for his dinner.

However, he is very very good at eating spices (he eats red hot chili peppers whole). So he can easily handle the spiciest American, Chinese, and Mexican foods.

My question is - what cuisines are spicier? How can I stump him? I know that Indian and Thai food can be quite spicy. Are there any others? Which ones are the spiciest?

Well my dad just opened up a restaurant in North Hills, California called Taco's Don Chente. For one reason or another, most of our customers are familys and the older working class. We are located about 3 miles from Calstate Northridge and we are thinking about doing a student discount to bring in a new demographic. My question is, how much of a discount should I give to lure in students? Obviously giving the food away just about assures they come in, but this is still a buisness we have to run so what's the smallest discount that would lure you in to try a new restuarant?

I read how Foie Gras is made, by inserting tubes in a fowl's throat twice a day and pumping half-cooked corn into it. I would agree to ban it based on that but food is necessary too. Is there some other way to get Foie Gras without force feeding birds?
