Tony Romas is one of the best in the country as far as chain restaurants go. I have found that if you look around long enough you will find a much better small BBQ shop in almost every town in America.

Spring Creek in Fort Worth/Dallas area but TR is really good. Not familiar with your other option. In Memphis . . . Rendezvous but Dry or Wet basting? Don't care as long as the beer is 45 degrees and Boddingtons Ale.
