How many of you have felt depressed when faced with that dreaded sign ??? Or when told not to smoke. So my question is.... were you a smoker and have you, in the last 1 year or two or even 3, managed to stop smoking ? (and never smoked again, of course ) I smoked for many, many years. With lots of fear that I would fail yet again but WILL power and a prayer... yes, a PRAYER, I have SUCCEEDED !!!! July 7th this year will be the first anniversary, one year without smoking. I hate the stuff now when I LOVED smoking until then. Now I feel more alive, I look better, AND I HAVE NOT PUT ON ANY SIGNIFICANT WEIGHT ! My question --- HAS ANY OF YOU SUCCEEDED in stopping TOO and if so please tell us about it !!! Maybe we can, this way, encourage others to stop too. You really don't know what it is like to stop and appreciate Nature more (fresher air, better sense of smell etc etc) until you have quit that horrendous and stupid habbit.
Hint, it is 1,000 times easier to stop than you think.
