when your in a restaurante and you have a hot waitress, are you more inclined to tip her more as opposed to an ugly one? if so why?

well of course he's probably going to leave a dollar or two more but it really depends on the service ..i go to a sizzler (with my mom and dad, and sister) on Sundays and their is a hot waiter but his service takes over his face he is always asking can i get you a refill do you need more plates... so on and we leave him a good tip so if your hot and give great service...your gonna be getting some tips!

well when you say “hot” then I will say no, if I was in a restaurant and hate a “hot” waitress then I would ask her to cover up her self when she is working and if she refuse to do so I would show my lake of satisfaction in my tip, or maybe take it up whit the manager of the restaurant. It is improper to be “hot” as a waitress. Not that you would have to be ugly to be a waitress, you can be beautiful but it is improper to be “hot” as a waitress.

i tip on the service i get.
if the waitress is not that attractive but i get my order promptly, and she comes back to see how I'm doing/if i need anything else, then she's getting a nice tip.
if the waitress looked like a supermodel and was lousy at her job. then she's not getting a tip.
it's never about what a waitress looks like, it's about he service they provide, and if they ARE attractive, I'm sure they get kinda tired of getting hit on by the patrons all the time.

it all comes down to the service, guy gall good looking or not, if i had great service its a good tip. but if the hot waitress was off to busy flirting with the jock then usually there is no tip. cause i didn't get my service.

No. I judge the tip on how much service I recieve though I tend to tip at leats 15-20% because I am a waitor also.

Good tip for good service, small tip for bad service. It is not related to the quality of the food, or to the appearance of the server.
BUT since ugly, is truly a PERSONALITY characteristic, I guess ugly servers do receive smaller tips.

I tip more on personality. I am more apt to give a higher tip to a more friendly "ugly" woman than a total snob "hot" one

Not here. The quality of the service is what I base tips on. I could care less if she's good looking or not. Where the hell would that get you anyway?
