I'm not very technical so excuse me sounding dull, but you know when you get up close to the screen you can see only 3 colours... Well the red doesn't work 95% of the time. It's usually working when it's switched on, then fades away. And then sometimes the red takes over the whole screen for about 15 seconds and you can't even see the picture through it.

Is it fixable or time to trade in for a flat screen. (I'd feel bad tho cos the advent of flat screen, fab though it is has meant loss of jobs in my area, cos we had a Sony plant making the tubes, but they've stopped production here and switched to europe).

Sorry, rambling, back to the point, reckon it's worth lugging it to a repair shop, or straight to the tip. Either way I'm fed upof white people being grey and black people being green (honest that's how they look with no red)!

okay
so i was trying to what a vhs
i put the movie in and as soon as i set it to channel 3, it wasnt working like the vhs was all fuzzy
so i tried to take the movie out
and it wont come out!!!!! its like stuck or something
how am i supposed to get it out??
what should i do??
i'd prefer if someone gave me step by step instructions on what to do
and for those who dont know mabey you can tell me a site that could help
i really really need help!!!!!!!

I need to connect my bedroom tv to my lounge tv to get a decent signal because the lounge tv has great reception when plugged into to the external aerial, but a little set top aerial is rubbish in my bedroom. any chance of getting something which connects the two, and doesnt cost much money, kind of like an extension lead or something?

I have a cable line into my room which has a splitter attatched to it. Would it be possible to put another splitter into the splitter so that I have 3 cable lines in my room? I want to do this because I have the modem setup, along with cable TV, and I wanna get a TV Tuner in my computer.

I have convergence problems with the "crosses" tilted off of horizontal. Is there a way for me to fix this? I have electronics experience and fix computers and regular tv often.

you know, so when a special program ads and you want to remember it to look at it, but then you forget. make a t.v. with a calendar & remote so you can view each day to see if you programmed in any specials you may want to watch that day or during the week or the following week. because the history channel was showing a show i wanted to see and then forgot when the program was coming on, so i missed it. but heard other people talking about it because they just happened on it while flicking the remote. imagine, a t.v. that you can program any programs along with the day, date, time and channel for at least a two week period.

I have this very old antique Rca Victor tv from 1948, one of the very first televisions on the market, and it still works even though it's 58 years old. I was wondering if any of you would know how much my tv would go for if I sold it on ebay. As I don't want to sell it if it does not go for much money. So let me know what you think. Thanks

i'm getting constant letters, visits and 6 months ago had a formal notice on my front door from the tv licensing THIS PROPERTY is not licensed.
I have even let them in and search my property.
But still getting letters and visits!!!!
What can i do? can i take legal action for harassment?
