I don't know much about either Direct TV or Dish Network, but their prices and channel selection look amazing in comparison to Mediacom and I'm wondering if people who have Direct TV or Dish Network are satisfied with their service. I also need to know if you have to have an active land phone line for either to work, because I just use a cell phone. Also, if you don't get the DVR devices to pause/rewind live TV, can you still connect a regular VCR to your TV and record programs? Any other general information you can give me about other cable options would also be much appreciated. Thank you!

I am trying to sell my 1998 Samsung T.V. and a potential buyer has asked me if it has an S-video connection. How can I verify whether or not my T.V. is equipped with this feature?

At present, when staying at our static caravan we unplug the connections from the back of the sky box, take it with us, and connect it up with the sky dish at the caravan to receive our normal package of channels.

If we replace our sky box with a Sky + box, will we still be able to do this?

I have read that an extra cable is required between the sky dish and the sky + box to enable the recording function, and wondered if the fact that we have no extra cable at the caravan will stop us from using sky altogether.

I have a color tv. I left it on today while i went to work. When I came home from work, the picture was in black and white. I shut off the tv for about 5 min. The pic was in color but soon changed back to black and white again. This is not the first time this has happened. This doesn't happen very often and most of the time it displays the picture in color. Does anyone know what is wrong with my television??

I have a TV that has a built-in VCR player. When I hook up a DVD player to it, the video works but the color constantly changes from a darker hue to a lighter hue. Are there any way I can fix this or do I need to buy a TV without a built-in VCR player? (I have tried two different DVD players and both have given me the same problem.)

Please no snide remarks about "Yo Mamma did!" Because my teacher said we had to right about directores or people who made shows, so I picked "WHERE'S WALDO?" (Oh and the teacher also said we can look up information on the internet)

I just bought a Sony 34” HDTV dirt cheap from eBay but it has a scratch in the middle of the screen. I want to find out how to make the scratch less visible or removed? I know whatever I do it’s not going disappear. Any Suggestions?

By rating system I mean how they measure how many people watch the show, not what the appropriate audience should be.

Please I want serious answers, I really want to know.
