For several years in the early and mid 1990s, "Where's Waldo" was turned into a Sunday newspaper comic/puzzle. Then in 1997 there was Where's Waldo? The Wonder Book by by Martin Handford (Illustrator). There was also a TV Show and Video Games on Waldo. Hopefully that answers your question. See my link for more info.
