I have convergence problems with the "crosses" tilted off of horizontal. Is there a way for me to fix this? I have electronics experience and fix computers and regular tv often.

Each of the "crosses" are tilted. the red tilted one way the blue the other way. On the convergence screen (multipoint) the center cross is close to aligned. The further away from the center the worse it gets. When on a channel it looks like a whirlpool to the center.

If all the crosses are tilted then grasp the deflection yoke firmly and rotate it to correct the tilt you may have to slacken the band off first.

do not turn yokes unless you can see that they have been moved your stk ic's are bad( convergence drive ic's) change both and check for burnt resistors close to ic's
