I want to buy a Philips LCD tv. There is an optional 2 year warranty, should I buy that as well? Are factory refurbished products as good as buying new?

Alrighty. For a nearly two week trip during which I'll be taking many digital photos in RAW format (which = lots of space), will a portable photo storage device be sufficient? Should I bring my laptop just in case?

I drive a taxi with a few extras. I have a video entertainment system that doubles as a communication system for the hearing impaired. Using voice-to-text, when I say appears on one of the 15" screens, and passenger who cannot hear me, can then respond using a wireless keyboard. In this manner, I can talk to hearing impaired passenger in much the same way as those who can hear me.

On the video screens, I also play music videos, and would like to add dancing lights, with specific colored LED lights assigned to specific tone ranges in the music. In this manner, these passengers can enjoy, if only in a limited way, the music, also. But, I'm having trouble finding one. Back in the 60s and early 70s, they were fairly common in home stereos, but they fell out of favor. Can anyone recommend a company that still makes them, especially for a 12-volt system?

I recently bought a pair of old headphones that were made for record player listening.
The plug doesn't fit into modern headphones jacks (for obvious reasons, it's too big).
I would like to know if there is a kind of adapter so that I would be able to use these headphones with the new headphone jacks on CD players and computers.
Thank you for your help!

I have a situation described below:

I have a digital cable box, a DVD writer, and a DVD + VCR combo.

I made a connection as follows:

Digital cable Antenna TO Cable Box RF-In.
Cable Box RF-out TO (DVD + VCR) combo RF-in
(DVD + VCR combo) RF-Out TO DVD writer RF-in
DVD writer RF-out To TV

Now my VISTA computer has a IEEE port and my DVD writer has a IEEE port.
Can I display my computer screen on my TV using an IEEE cable from computer’s IEEE port to DVD writer’s IEEE port?

2nd option:
I have a VGA port on my computer. My TV has only RCA port (red+yellow+white). How to connect them to display computer monitor on TV?

We have the opportunity to get two 7" Myron and Davis built-in headrest DVD players for $1650-1700, OR one fold down DVD (10" or 13") for $600-1,000. Prices include installation. We have two kids, ages 21 months and 12 years. We already have a portable DVD player that can be strapped onto a seat as a "supplement" to either of these two options. So...which DVD setup would you go with? Headrest or single fold-down DVD player???

I was just wondering. I heard about a company called Charter, but do not know what area they cover. But I am getting a little tired of Comcast, their high pricing and average coverage.
Peace!

I recently came across a husky flashlight that has a rubberized exterior i guess in case it is dropped. The interesting thing is this flashlight has 3 led in it. It has a red light, yellow light and a ultra white light. These lights rotate in order with the on/off light. Can someone please tell me the purpose of having a flashlight that not only has a white light but a blue and a red light as well?
