All recording processes induce noise into the signals during recording and reproduction due to the components used for amplification. When the recording and playback steps are eliminated by using "live" signals, less noise is induced into the final signals.

Some people have good enough equipment and eyesight to be able to notice the added noise...

Because, on live programming, they have no time to edit the video so it looks 100%. It's just, what you see is what you get.
