I have a 5 disk DVD player with radio on it, but I don't get any reception through it. Is there a certain cable or antenna I need? Someone help! I'm electronically stupid...

Oh, on the back is something called a FM Coaxial...I'm thinking maybe something needs to be connected there? HELP!

Thanks....
Susie

If you're trying to listen to FM, then, yes, you need something plugged into the FM Coaxial connector.

If you have cable TV, you >might< be lucky enough to be able to pick up stations using that coax. Take it off your TV and connect it up -- if it works, you need a splitter (first link) so you can hook up both the TV and radio. You'll need two coax cables, too (just ask when you get the splitter) -- one for the TV, one for the radio outputs from the splitter.

If not, your system probably came with something in the box that should've been plugged in there, but if you didn't see it and threw it away, then you need to get another one (an antenna) and an adapter to the coax (2nd & 3rd links).

Good Luck, Susie!
