Music & Music Players - March 2007

I have an MP3 file around 16 hours long and I need to edit it into about 2 to 3 hour segments. Is there any easy way of doing it without going out and buy some expensive program?
I have media player 10 on an XP platform.

I have music in itunes that i want to play on my new creative mp3 player,i dont want to spend hours burnnig, everything to cd.is there any way i can get tracks stored in itunes converted to the correct format so i can play them on my new mp3 player, all i know is that it can be done i just dont know how.

Is a flash drive the best choice to back up songs, videos, photos from your iTunes library? If so, I need a 30 GB flash drive to accomodate my library. Where's a good place to buy one of these for least $$? Any suggestions appreciated.

Is there any difference in 1st and 2nd generation iPods? I am wanting to buy a "skin" for mine, and the one I want says for 1st generations and mine is a 2nd one, so I was wondering if there was a difference.

I am starting a business here, and i will be selling my mp3s and mp4s between $40.00us to $85.00us i will not be making much profit on them but its a start for me. Some of the mp4s have a speaker, microphone, charger, headphones and they even send a signal to the car stereo and you hear the songs via the car speakers and a camera on it, they are top stuff. I am not an expert, but am i ok in price would people buy them. I ask you hear my freinds because they say to me that i will not sell if i dont have a shop, but i cannot afford a shop, so im selling at these prices.
My question
Am i ok with my prices, in this jungle of a society? and this competitive world of ours??? I am just asking ouffff thanks folks im a little stressed out because i just bought 300 of them.

I downloaded a bunch of music off of Rhapsody on their Rhapsody to Go plan (free month-long trial), thinking, foolishly, that I would get all this stuff free, cancel my subscription, and have all this music.. Wrong. Now I cannot do anything with the music except play it on the computer (no burning, transferring, and palying on my mp3 only works when I sync it every 24 hours). And that limited stuff ends after March 10th. Is there a way around this, or am I being (obviously not exactly legal... =< ) foolish and selfish? Is there a way to get rid of the protection, or should i just pay for the plan (14.99 a month)?

Well my ipod has a volume limit and I forgot it completely. So I checked the ipod website and it said to restore it. (Erasing completely everything)But I have some songs on it that aren't in my itunes library (because I got some songs from my friends) How do I save those songs to my itunes library so I can still have all my songs and the ones that my friend gave me?
