An Ipod is an Mp3 player, it is just a brand by Apple, they both do exactly the same things which is store music in a digital format. It is just like a walkman but you dont have to carry tapes all the music is stored in the player, you get the music off your computor.

Ipod is made by "apple"... and it also allows you to go to different sizes.... 2gb, 4gb (nano), 8gb, 20gb, 30gb, and 80gb. Both mp3 players and ipods will allow the person to play the MP3 songs. The ipod uses the iTunes program to transfer the music, where the MP3 players use windows media player, or the software that comes with the player. The iPod has now improved the desgn, and has improved the battery life. it will last you a flight all the way to England. Apple has a crappy warranty, you get one phone call for free. You and get Mp3 players that play movies as well but they can't hold that much movies.....There theroidicly is no difference between MP3 players and iPods...
