I would like to have the computer act as the central unit of my entertainment center. Can a phonograph be played through a PC? If so, does anyone know how? What do I need?

Thanks!

Phonographs use RCA jacks to connect to audio amplifier. PC soundboards accept stereo banana jacks only. Therefore, you'll gonna have to convert the jacks of you phonograph to stereo banana jack and plug it to line in or audio in or auxiliary audio in of your PC soundboard.
