I am getting an MP3 player for Christmas, and I wanted to know what are the best brands, for example: Ipod, Scandisk, Vtech, are the best for and MP3 player. I also want to know what are the best features in an MP3 PLayer. For example, is it better to get a 2GB with FM Tuner and Voice Recorder with rechargabe battery, or a 1GB with video and photo compatible with no rechargeable battery. What's the best MP3 player you can buy, basically. And can you also define this terms:

Voice Recorder (If it's in an MP3 Player, does it actually record your voice?)

Fm Tuner

And how can you tell if it has rechargeable battery? Does it actually have to say "rechargeable" on the pack, or does it say something else?

I know it's alot to ask for, but it would really help me. And you get 10 points =). Thanks a million. Tell me anything you know.

£50-£100.
1GB.
Must be easy to transfer songs onto the MP3 Player.
I've been looking at the SANDISK SANSA E250 2GB. Is it any good.

I understand that MP3 players don't have the memory that i-Pods do, but, beyond that, what are the differences that create such a diversity in pricing?

Okay, here's the thing, I have a portable CD player, and everytime I turn it on, it keeps saying DISC (meaning I don't have one in there), but, I actually do have one in there. So, seriously, can anyone tell me how to fix it?

I was looking at an ad and found out that a Creative Zen Vision: M supposedly can hold 120 hours of video when the player is only a 30 gb. Then the Apple Ipod can hold only 40 hours of video when it is only 30 gb. Which one is correct?

I want to buy an electric guitar as a gift for starters, and I don't want to pay too much. Is it better to buy a $200 Gibson from Target, or a cheaper, less popular brand from a store like Guitar Center?

I own two portable devices that are WMA-DRM compliant, and nowhere can I find an answer on Yahoo music's website as to how many devices, or how many times a song can be synced up to a portable player. Yahoo unlimited seems like a great deal, but not if I can't use both of my players.

i recently downloaded Bearshare (version 6.0). my primary use for Bearshare was to put music on my mP3 player. The only problem is: my friend that suggested that i use Bearshare has version 5.25. now that she is trying to show me how to put the songs in my mP3 player, she is having a hard time explaining because the buttons are all different. i thought that the new version would be the best, but from what other people on here have said, 5.25 is a better version. does anyone know where i can download the older version? i have searched for "Bearshare 5.25" in as many search engines as i can think of... Bearshare's FAQ's aren't helping and neither are the directions for my mP3 player and its program. any help would be greatly appreciated. :P
