I am thinking of buying headphones, for my dorm, ipod, and just in general. but i don't really know which ones to get. i need something that sounds great at high volumes( ganna turn deaf soon but whatever) and where the bass doesn't shake my head open. Anyone knows of the Sony MDRV 700s? Or the Pioneer HDJ1000. I'm willing to pay $150 for great headphone which won't fall apart in 1 year cause their made in China. Thanks!

These earphones should be a resonable fit but are nowhere near. You would have to have ears like a very large bat or perhaps a giant panda for them to fit.
