i dont like ipods and i have a 512 mb looking to upgrade to 1 gb

Here is Samsung YP-Z5Q. I really like it so here are a few details.
Advantages : 2 GB, Good sound quality, Great build, Good screen, Good interface, Neat navigation, USB 2.0, Picture slide show, Custom backgrounds, Excellent battery life.
Disadvantages : Custom USB connector, No voice recorder, No FM receiver, No video playback, Slightly expensive.
Given its output quality, capacity, finish, aesthetics, and battery life ( 35 hours ), I would not mind recommending it to those looking for a good quality audio player. I would appreciate if Samsung gets a bit more aggressive on the pricing though.

Personally, I prefer MP3 players that have an expandability option, where you could stick a memory car in to expand your storage needs. And I also don't like iPODS mainly because everyone and their damn DOG has one! Any one of the ones reccomended here should be ok. Sony's stuff should have memory card expandability. I don't know about the creative ones, but creative makes good stuff, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of those either.

I would say the Sandisk Sansa e250. It's 2GB and $150, so it's around the price of many 1GB players. It also allows mroe space it your library continues to grow.
It has a solid feature set like radio, voice recording, and video playback. The battery life per charge is great at 22 hours.

uhh well Hey the creative zen sleek photo or the creative zen nano is 1 gb the sleek photo is 20gb 200$ and yah OH the zen v is 1 gb 1.5 in color screen and 150$ is realllly nice

I love my Creative Zen Vision M (30GB) My wife has the Creative Zen Microphoto (8GB).
