I am looking to buy a new console, As i'm a newbie in this aspect. I have no knowledge anything about gaming, please help me with deciding which one to get. An elaborate reply with definitions or links that may help a starter in this field would be very much appreciated.

I know that the PS3 has an optical port. Is there a certain adapter I can buy that'll work? Been searching for the answer but I haven't found a solution yet.

So, the 360 enthusiasts say Xbox Live is better than PSN. They're right. But, Sony will be expanding it into an ITunes-like media store and will be releasing HOME and will still make it free to all. So that debate will be even.

They also say the 360 game library is better right now. They're right. But, PS3 has 300 games coming out in the next year, including some very top choice exclusives. So, that debate will be even too.

They say the 360 has better graphics. It looked to me that PS3 launch with the same graphics, but have already surpassed the 360 with games like Heav.Sword and Lair.

So, lets have some fun and answer the question: When the 360 fanboys run out of excuses, what will they use to justify their system as the next-gen leader?

I think they'll stop making reasonble and logical excuses and simply resort to the tried and true argument of: "PS3 sux, iT's 2 expensve. Got nO Halo. GEt a XbOx 360. Biitcheez"

OK so i will be moving 2 weeks from now, I was told it would be hard to take my ps3 with me on the plane. I plugged the red and white cords into the tv and the power cord into the power and ps2. I pressed the restart button and it turned from red to green. The disc spins but the game doesn't show up on the tv. This is the first time i have tryed to play the playstation but it is not new and my tv is not old. What is wrong?

oh and I have heard of max media manager pro for pic tranfers to the ps3 but i want to save my space on the ps3 for games mainly. i'm not interested in upgrading my ps3 hd. i really want to access it all by media server.

Ok I just got the new PSP Ice Silver (PSP2001) and under system settings it doesn't have an option that allows you to enable the flash player like the old PSP's do. I know it's not already enabled because my flash images aren't animated when I view them. Has that function been taken out of the new PSP's or what?
