The 40GB PS3 will only have 2 USB ports, no card reader, and no backwards compatibility with your PS2 games - EVER.
It will still contain the WiFi adapter, ethernet port, and everything else.
Note that this model hasn't been announced in the US yet. If you really want a PS3, get the 60GB. It's cheaper than the 80GB and has better backwards compatibility than the 80GB one.

Less features than the others!!! Only 2 USB ports, no ethernet cable, and you will not be able to play your PS2 games either. Only PS1 games. I've heard you can download software to play PS2, but I'm still searching!!
