Halo 3 and Gears of War have already come out, so they're practically dead. Metal Gear Solid has some of the best single player gameplay ever. And Killzone for PS2 had good graphics and awesome gameplay, and Killzone 2 for the PS3 will look way better than Halo 3.
The only thing that Halo 3 has going for it is online gameplay, if it weren't for that, Halo 3 wouldn't even as popular as it was. Metal Gear Solid 4 doesn't even need online gameplay to sell millions of copies. But I do know that there is going to be Metal Gear Online coming out around the same time as MGS 4, so the added multiplayer will be like nothing else.

I'm a PS3 owner and I have to say Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2. The Metal Gear series is a legend in the gaming world and I seriously don't think that any other game will ever come close to topping this game. I played the first Killzone demo and thought that it was awesome, so I think that Killzone 2 is going to be even better.

Well, as KZ2 and MGS4 haven't come out yet, i'll have to go the other way. But, as Halo 3 is good and Gears of War is great, I think that it'll be pretty even when the other two are released. Killzone will be good and Metal Gear will be great.

Halo 3 and gears of war have a more solid gameplay. The multiplayer of halo 3 and gears of war are the best out there.
