I was wondering if imported a ps2 game from europe (age of empires II) if it would play on my american ps2, w/o any modding.

i was wondering if x-box is better than the ps3. witch is a better product? i like playing baseball and it seemed that the x-box had a better graphics, but now my friends r suggesting that ps3 is much better.

OK I've played formula1chmpionship it was OK not special. NBA LIVE 08 didnt like it I prefer pc version less graphics. All star football ps1 graphics lol why when i have madden lol. rachet and clank ehh kids game. NOW WHAT? COD4 i hear is amazing but ive been told graphics arent great but gameplay is great and I'm not a big fan of 1st person shooters . I prefer 3rd person. I love the idea of assasins creed but looks too repetitive for lasting appeal. Any thoughts on games to buy? Also if it's complicated I wont like it.

I played spyro once, but I don't remember if it had a lot of reading. A platform game seems to be best, but it has to be something that voices the instructions, and isn't overly confusing. I'm not willing to pay more than $25.00. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Okay, I got my man a 60gb PS3 for Christmas. I already picked up 3 games, an extra controller, and the HDMI cable. Is there anything else I should look into getting for it so we won't have to run out to walmart Christmas day?

Are there two versions of the PS3? I went to the mall one day and I looked in the window of GameStop. I saw two different prices for the PS3. Also, 2 weeks ago, a yahoo! answers member named b_i_g_kid said, "...The PS3 will be getting better in the near future, first quarter 2008. And they just came out with a cheaper PS3, not as cheap as the Wii." What does this all mean?

This question is to the sane PS3 owners and not the frothing mad loonies you have to share your console love with.

Why are there so many PS3 owners who are nutcases? They're giving your type a bad name and they're discouraging me from buying one.

Now I know that Wii and 360 also have rabid loons in their ranks, but the PS3 one's seem to outnumber them, spamming yahoo answers with "PS3 RULEZ XBOX SUCKS"

did it occur to any of them that's it's quite common to have multiple next gen consoles and not be a horrible fanboy?

My family might be getting a PS3 for Christmas. I just wanted to confirm, is it possible to play PS2 games on a PS3? i just wanna know i am making a good decision by getting a 40gb instead of the 60gb since the 60gb stopped being produced =[ ,i understand that the 40gb cant play ps2 and ps1 games but my main concern is the graphics i.e will they look as good as the 60gb graphics, and will the performance of the 40gb be bad compared to the 60gb's performance.
see i may buy a 60gb ps3 off ebay or amazon.
