the previous guy is right all signs are pointing toward a ps3 only launch because of the creators wanting to do so much more.
p.s. they better the second one was good but i felt it could have been WAY better than it was

I seriously doubt that God of War 3 will be on the PS3. I think that David Jaffe and his developers have a whole lot that they want to do with God of War 3, and they just can't do what they want to do if it's released on the PS2.
I think that it's safe to say that God of War 3 will only be on the PS3. If GTA 4 or Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't even going to be on the PS2 then I'm pretty certain that God of War 3 wont be either.

I'm about positive it will be PS3 only, God of War 2 was one one the PS2's last great games.
