Can somebody that knows allot about the technical specifications of video games consoles, electronics, hardware and software please help me analyze this article: PS3 vs. Xbox 360

I bought Svr 08 for PS2 last month but now i got a PS3 since my parents finally caved in. I was wondering if the SvR 08 of PS2 can be played on the 80gb PS3 (i wud check but im afraid it might mess up the disc).

Every time i put a CD in, during the usual start up (that's when it shows those coloured dots flying around the cubes), my PS2 makes a sort of screeching noise and suddenly doesnt read the CDs. Whats' wrong with it?
P.S.: The noise is a sort of creeeeeeeeeek kind of noise.

Are they making a Sly 4? Are they making it for the PS2, PS3, etc? Is Sucker Punch going to stop making for PS2? I really hope not. Sly games are the best.

Ok,I downloaded "Free Video to iPod Converter 2.4"

to put flv [youtube video] on my psp....first of all,this program works fine for that....only problem is,Once it converts the videos to mp4 and I put them on my psp,there are no Titles for the videos [i.e. "sports highlights" "Batman Trailer" etc] there are just "-" because I have to use the whole "M4900056" title when i insert them into the psp movie folder...is there anyway I can somehow put titles on these videos via another program or a tweak?? any help would be greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with 5 Stars! thanks.

I have an original PS2 (fat ones) and Grand Trismo 4 and a Samsung LN-T3253H (HDTV).
When I go to the options menu and under screen setting in GT4 there is the option for 1080i, and when i select it my TV (which plays 1080i) says "weak or no signal"
Do I need an HD Cable for my PS2 or do I need to change a setting on my TV?

Shud i place it on top of a table which is very secure but is very cramped or shud i place it on top of my tv where there is a lot of room but has a 4 foot fall?

Most games I play with on consoles I enjoy using a controller, however, with first person shooters I tend to play most on my PC so that I have a keyboard and mouse, it's just more accurate. Will the PS3 be able to support these when playing games such as Call of Duty 4, and Resistance?

I went to places like Games 4 Less & Hollywood Video's GameCrazy to buy a Wii. What pissed me off though was that they were jackin' up the retail price of the Wii to $350 to $399. They were trying to sell their overstocked Spiderman 3 games along with it, there was no other way around it. I tried Target but they are always sold out.
