Do they really believe that pressing four little buttons on a plastic controller compares to playing a real musical instrument?

Have any of you played guitar hero. Guitar hero III on expert for some dragon force song. Now thats really hard to do. Sure its 4 buttons but many many of my friends who are really good at playing a real guitar have trouble even to play this song. People have skill in playing a real guitar, and people have skill playing guitar hero. Show them both respect.

I can play the lions share of the songs on Guitar Hero three on a guitar... but I'll be damned if I can play guitar hero three...lol
Of course I've only played it a couple time... so I don't really know what would happen if I were to get a few hours of it.

i like to think that i am pretty good at playing guitar hero and i know for a fact i can't play guitar. now my brother is the complete oppisite, he plays killer guitar and can't play the game worth a damn. i've heard that alot of people that can actually play a real guitar suck at the game, for example scott ian from anthrax

Because they can't separate fantasy (playing Guitar Hero) from reality (playing a real guitar).

It's a game. I play it. I know lots of people that play it. And none of us think we can play a guitar.
Why do ignorant people have to be so condescending to people who enjoy Guitar Hero? It's like it's cool to make fun of people because it's not real. Well duh retard.
