i know the first game i am gunna buy is call of duty 4 but i have no idea for a second one

get ASSASSINS CREED ITS AWESOME!!!! (dont believe the reviews)
other great games you mght want to look in to.....
heavenly sword (AWESOME but really short)
ninja gaiden sigma (pretty challenging)
warhawk (online play is the shizznit)
ratchet and clank (FUN)
lair (pretty good)
NFS prostreet (its prettier than NFS carbon but the drifting is waaaaayyyy more fun in NFS carbon)

I can only vouch for Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, Its is a very very good FPS. (I'd say the best but I haven't played any others) All the Infinity Ward-made Call of Duty's have been great, along with a great multiplayer. You should get it, its really fun, thousands of people are online always, and its well worth 60 bucks.

If you mean like Christmas time I suggest Unreal Tournament 3, the PS3 Orange box, Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction, Resistance:Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (a maybe because to me it was to predictable which for me made it boring...My opinion),or Heavenly Sword
