Take a clean cotton cloth, and wipe the discs with the cloth gently without water until clean.

You can use a lint free cloth to clean your PS3 games with. You must be laying down your games on a hard surface or something because my PS3 games don't even have one scratch on them and I've had Resistance since January and it doesn't even have a scratch on it.

It's very hard to scratch a PS3 disk. However fingerprints on the bottom of the disk can cause it to freeze or skip. Just wipe the disk with a soft cloth.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Tissue paper is alright to use.

But I have a special cloth that removes finger prints in a single wipe.

You get this cloth in the PSP packaging and I am not sure what type of cloth it is but you can buy special disk cleaning cloths from town. W H Smith for example

A clean cloth is your best bet. It won't scratch the game as you clean it. Be careful with your games dude, they're not so cheap.
