I have heard there are different HI Def formats for DVD movies now. I am not sure of the different kinds. I don't want to buy the wrong format and not be able to watch it on my Playstation 3. I guess I have to make sure the movie box says " Blu Ray" . Or no?

I've tried Connecting the PS3 to my PC but it doesn't seem to register with either of the devices, is it even possible to network them together? My PC is wirelessly connected to the internet via a wireless router, so is the PS3. They both Get on the internet via wireless connection. But I'm trying to use the ethernet to connect The PS3 and the PC together so i can possibly move files back and forth between them. Or at least from the PC to the PS3.

they sell a 60gb ps3 near where my dad works at . And it's a small store . Do you think i should buyb the 60 GB ps3 ?. but i don't really want to buy it from there because it's a small store so maybe they might have used it a lil . I bought my hubby a playstation 3 for Christmas. I want to buy him 3 games to go along with it, that way he has variety. He likes basketball games, but I want him to expand his horizon with games. I know if I get him a game (regardless of what it is) he will play it. But I want to get him something that is fun and that he will enjoy. So with that said, what are some good PS3 games that are currently out in stores now that I can possibly look into getting for him.

Well, I have a PS3 (60 GB), and I was wondering how you could play PS2 games on it? You just pop in the PS2 game and it loads the game and you play?

I popped in my PS2 game, and nothing loads, I went on the "Game" option and it didn't show any CD picture on it.

Why is that?

I wondered if anyone out there could clarify why the PS3 60 gb version was withdrawn from the UK I went into two high street stores and got two different answers?

1. That there was an issue with them not beong able to play the PS2 and PS1 games as stated.

and my second answer was

2. Sony weren't selling them in such high quantities so deleted them, which I find hard to believe?.

Also I notice that they are selling on ebay for well over £400.00 when they were deleted they were going for £350.00 with 2 games included

Does anyone know the difference between the retail US and the Asian version of Burnout Paradise?

On Play-Asia, the US and Japanese versions are both US$64.90 (INR Rs. 2,580), while the Asian version is a cool US$49.90 (INR Rs. 1,984). While that may not seem like too big a difference, it wouldn't make sense to pay more for the US version if the Asian one is gonna have the same content.

Do you guys have any info on this?

I've watched a vid before of a PS2 game being played on the PS3 with the other half of the screen being played on PS2 itself. Comparing it shows that it's washed out and crappier on the PS3.

Then I've read it's been fixed in the newer releases of the console. Can someone please confirm this? I want to know if we can play PS2 games on PS3 at least as good as the PS2 does. And also, how about the PS1 games?

I'm interested to play the following PS2/1 games on it: Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Xenosaga games, Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, etc.
