if i buy it on ebay from the uk will it work perfectly in ireland?

Yes, it will. Any playsation from Europe should work in Ireland. They all run "PAL" certified games so it shouldn't be a problem. i bought mine from the UK and I'm in Ireland and it works fine.

Yes. I should think so. I imagine your TV works on the same PAL system as the UK's.

should do, when my family moved from irl to uk we brought some electronics over, so a ps3 should work vice versa.

i doubt it. ps3 are all different for each country.
