I think that you should buy the 60GB PS3 from that store. Most major retailers don't even sell them anymore. As long as the PS3 is brand new and has never been opened, I say buy it.

Even thought the 60GB PS3 is the older model, it is really the most desired PS3 model because it has the same exact features as the 80GB PS3 and it has full backwards compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games.

i would buy it because the 40gb is the same price $399 and so your getting 20 more gb and card readers and ps2 compatibilty and 2 more usb ports or you could get the 80gb for $500 but the 60gb plays the most ps2 games the 80gb doesnt play as many and the 40bg doesnt play any ps2 games

Yes, you should buy it. The older 60Gb PS3 is actually one of the best because it is still "backwards compatible", meaning it can play PSone and PS2 games as well. The newer ones can't...that's why you can find the newer ones cheaper sometimes, because they cost less to make that way.

It may be the old version, but it is the one version of the PS3 that can play a lot of PS2 games.

yea ask them if how much it is and since its a small store i dont know if they have like a 90 day store return reipt like walmart if you bought it from there and sony gives you one year but you need the recipt and the reciept itself should have a 90 day warranty for the ps3...good luck and make sure if you get it look at everything very carefully no scrathes and finger prints good luck!

60 and 80GB systems are the same price and the 80 comes with a game. I'd say opt for the 80.
