Most games I play with on consoles I enjoy using a controller, however, with first person shooters I tend to play most on my PC so that I have a keyboard and mouse, it's just more accurate. Will the PS3 be able to support these when playing games such as Call of Duty 4, and Resistance?

uhm yea i know what you mean i remember playing halo 1 on the computer with my keyboard and mouse. Also with comand and conquer. Well i got fed up of glitches with these games and i did some research into the ps3 and it looked like "THE PERFECT CONSLE". Anyways i do not have Call of Duty 4 but i do have Resistance. Resistance lets you use headsets in the games which allow you to talk with people. If you do not have a headset you could always text to them via onscreen keyboard. Resistance does not let you play the games with a keyboard and mouse sorry to tell you because there is no other controller besides the ps controllers. I do not have Call of Duty 4 but i do have the 3rd one. The 3rd one does not allow headset communication but i heard that the 4th one does. Same rules apply with the other games i suppose. the only First Person shooter that uses keyboard and mouse support for ps3 is Unreal Tournament 3 as of now. i don't know why they don't include keyboard and mouse layouts on the controls, it won't take 1 gigabyte of the blu-ray disc. i'm with you on this one. the people dissing this question is just plain stupid. there is no controller that is on par with the keyboard/mouse responsiveness especially on First person shooters. it takes forever to turn around using a controller, when i can just do it in a flash with a mouse. yeah!

Unreal Tournament 3 will (well does since it was just released). However servers can restrict that option since it can give an unfair advantage to USB keyboard/mouse players due to increased turn speed and accuracy. I'm sure plenty of servers will allow it though.
COD4 and Resistance do not allow keyboards or mice.
