Every time i put a CD in, during the usual start up (that's when it shows those coloured dots flying around the cubes), my PS2 makes a sort of screeching noise and suddenly doesnt read the CDs. Whats' wrong with it?
P.S.: The noise is a sort of creeeeeeeeeek kind of noise.

it is proubly a internal error but it could also have to do with the lens that reads the cds/games try getting a disk cleaner or lens cleaner from walmart they have them the lens cleaner is a disk with small brushe on the bottom of it in one section and looks like a mohawk if you will and if that fails contact me and i will try to find what else could be wroung with it if all else fails go to their website
