PS2's have three output plugs (red, yellow, and white). my tv only has room for the yellow and white ones (audio and video). will the playstation work properly without the red plug hooked up?

when i put my PS2 games into my ps3 and start to play them, the screen goes fuzzy and my controller turns off and the game is played in 4:3 mode and I cant change it back.

I want a copy so bad and was planing on ordering one from one of those shops on ebay from hong kong or america (which sell the region free ps3 games) as it is banned in a lot of eu countries but will www.ebay.ie be stoping the sales of manhunt on their sites?

Can you put replace and install your own hard drive in the Playstation 3? If so, how is it installed? I am thinking that in the next few years, there will be alot of downloaded content on 360 and PS3, so we'll all start running out of room. I think I remember hearing about the possibility of replacing the factory PS3 hard drives with your own, any size you want. Does anyone know anything about this?

A guy is offering me Playstation 3, 60 GB with two controllers. 5 games - RESISTANCE FALL OF MAN, TONY HAWKS PROJECT 8, MADDEN 07, MOTORSTORM, AND RIDGERACER 7. He has the recepit for it, but didn't buy the extended warranty as he bought it at the initial launch which was back in December. my mom hates it when i play my ps2 out in the living with the plasma tv, she just want us to play it either in my room, or the cheep tv in the guest room(not even in her room!! i know!)
i kept asking my mom why and the only reason (that i think is unreasonable) is that ps2( or any kind of video games console) damages the plasma screen. can you please give me a truthful answer but also ones that i can prove her wrong and play in the living room again!.. the plasma is HUGE!!!!! its SOOO AWSOME!!

Okay Guys.. So I went out today and took my happy a$$ to gamespot to go get the ps3. Also.. I bought an extra controller so my brother can play as well.

But to My disappointment...I find out that the damn controller doesn't even vibrate. No more Dual Shock?.

I'm very sick with Sony right now, and especailly since Madden 08 is coming out next week, and I won't get to feel that Bone-Crunching Action that takes place in the game.

It's a shame that on my first day of experiencing a Playstation 3...I'm ALREADY.. on my way to take it back and get an XBOX 360 Elite.
