I am looking forward to buy a ps3 but i heard some rumours over the internet about the PS4 coming out christmas, in 18 months and in 2010. What is ur opinion? What should i buy?
If u plzz can give me some facts or something because i really dont know what to do and buy.

ps2 came out in 2000 ps came out in 2006 new systems come ou tlike every 5 -6 years so get a ps3 cuz ps2 is gonna be discoontinued in liek a year or 2

I highly doubt the PS4 will be out soon. it took soney a few years to get the ps2 out after the ps1. And im sure it'll be even longer for a ps4 becuase they had just updated such a great system to the highest standerds amung systems, and its going to be harder to get even better with a ps4. Infact, im not sure how much more they can advance. it seems as if the ps3 has everything. Maybe holograms or games that look like real life. U never know. But that would take many years im sure. I say Buy the Ps3, and if the ps4 does come out, go to ebay and sell ur ps3. Im sure 4 years from now the ps3 will still be worth much value to some. Good luck. (I do recommend getting a PS3 most rumors are to remain rumors on the internet.)

I can't tell you for certain when the PS4 is going to come out. I will tell you this though, technology improves at an alarming rate. It seems as if as soon as you buy something it is outdated. This holds true for almost everything. If you hold out and hold out waiting for the next thing you may never get to enjoy the here and now. For certain items that makes sense, but in the video game world there will probably be a new system introduced every 3-5 years. So even if you wait for a ps4 you will probably be asking the same question about the ps4 and the ps5.

Sony have constantly said they aim for the PS3 to have at least a ten-year life-cycle. So you wouldn't see the PS4 out till near the end, probably 7 or 8 years away at least would be my guess.
Talk of next year is just bollxxx

You should wait for the PS4 to come out. It will have more features than the PS3.
