There have been many improvements to the PS3 system since it has first came out. Just to name a few, the PS3 can print photos, you can use your pictures as a background image, you can transfer files(music, videos, pictures) wirelessly through a media server if a wireless network is in place, and more.

There is no telling what else Sony is going to add to the PS3 through updates. So far, there has been a new update for the PS3 every month. I'm not sure about a DVR, but who knows, if anyone can make it happen, it's Sony and I say anything is possible.

20gb and a game extra isnt worth the 100 bucks. Besides 60gb have better backwards compatibility than the 80gb.

60gb has 95% chance with ps2 and ps1 games
80gb has 80% chance with ps2 and ps1 games

I would buy one right now, but I highly doubt that a ps3 will get DVR or Tivo if that is what you mean. Get the PS3 now if you really want one. It is worth it

what the hell, ps3 or any system will never have dvr, the 80g is the same execpt it has no backwards compability cause it was too expencive to make a blu-ray/standard disc drive, so the 80gb is just a blu-ray drive and it comes with motorstorm, i would buy the 60gb, and i am literally, im going to best buy on like tuesday and picking one up

I just came across a site that sends you a Playstation 3 for free! I'm ordering mine right now.
