actually no, the only time toad appears is when you use peaches b move and in the first level of the campaign, toad is not unlockable i would know i have unlocked everything possible, all characters, EVERY!!! trophy and all stages and ive beaten every single player adventure mode with every character and ive beaten the 32 challenge series, toad is not unlockable at all.
