I want a copy so bad and was planing on ordering one from one of those shops on ebay from hong kong or america (which sell the region free ps3 games) as it is banned in a lot of eu countries but will www.ebay.ie be stoping the sales of manhunt on their sites?

I don't usually buy games from ebay but I am going to be forsed to as manhunt 2 will be illegal here so i am going to but it region free

well as the ps3 is region free i don't think you should have any probs buying off of ebay and if it does get banned in republic of ireland just go into say the american ebay and buy it from their the postage may cost you a bit more but if you really want the game it won't matter

dont buy any games off ebay if your console is not chipped
trust me i bought final fantasy 9 for the ps1 and it didnt work
because american games are ntsc which means it only works in the states or canada it will also work if u have a chipped conslole irelands consoles are pal which means u can only play english or irish games
if i where u i would cancel the purchase coz your wasting alot of money

They can't stop it because it's not out, and it isn't likely to be out for a while, anywhere. Check the rockstar site, www.rockstargames.com, if you don't believe me.
look under news for 'a note to our fans re:manhunt 2'
Once it comes out, you'll probably be able to get it in the R.o.I.
It isn't out anywhere yet, because neither Sony or Nintendo will allow such highly rated titles on their consoles. So until they can get it re-classified, which probably means modifying it, it wont come out.
Also, it's coming out for PS2, not PS3, so fingers crossed for the european release.

its a ps2 game, so i don't know whether or not its region free, but i doubt that eBay will stop the sale of it.
